"CURLY GIRLS BEWARE! I wasn’t even going to write a review but it’s been weeks and I’m still fuming. I booked a hair botox appointment after travelling an hour to show them my long, dense hair in person a month in advance so they could give me an accurate estimate. On the day of the appointment, I got there and they told me they did not have enough product to do the treatment which left me speechless. They offered to do a classic silk press instead (free of charge) which I appreciated until I realized that the person who was going to do it (Sito) does NOT know how to do curly hair. He repeatedly yanked at my hair while detangling it DRY, cut way too much of it when I asked for a TRIM and the owner (Jay) was literally giving him instructions on how to do Afro hair in real time. If you’re going to charge premium prices, make sure your personnel has premium skills. I’m not sure why they thought it was okay to treat me like a practice mannequin but if you value your texturized hair and money, do not go there. My assumption is that the positive reviews are from people with straighter textures. Honorable mentions: - Jay asked me what products I was using at home only to condescendingly reply "X brand? Oh why, you look like an intelligent woman…" and suggest a €55 hair mask from Sephora that we both knew was going to last me 2 uses with the amount of hair I have LOL - I had to ask Sito to adjust my cut twice after noticing it was uneven - The shampoo was not rinsed properly so I came home with a dry patch on my scalp (see lovely pic) Anyway, I went to another salon, got it done for half the price, and my hair’s never been shinier."

"I highly recommend Jay Walker. I’m extremely satisfied with his work. He is very professional, attentive to detail, and really takes the time to understand exactly what you want. The haircut is always impeccable and the result looks very natural. On top of his talent, he is welcoming and the whole experience is always pleasant. An excellent barber that I would recommend without hesitation."

"Disastrous attention from the owner and the other man working there. This was my second time there and I booked a haircut without blow dry. When I arrived, the owner told me that I have extremely long hair and that I had to choose another option for long hair. I clarified that I didn’t notice this when booking and I even said sorry about it. However, they both continued to complain to me at the same time, with an ugly tone and very stressed. They kept telling me that other customers were going to wait because of me, while they were actually making me wait. The only thing I wanted was a simple straight cut (2 fingers from the ends), not even a blow dry. Horrible attitude. Never again. Edit: Wow, they’re also lying. My hair wasn’t even down to my butt, so what are you talking about? Again, I already apologized for booking the wrong appointment, yet you still feel confident replying like this after the treatment I received at your salon? Also, I never booked an appointment with a blow-dry or asked for one during my last visit!! People, don’t go here."

"Beat hairdresser I’ve met in my life. As a guy with a curly hair it’s really difficult to find people who know how to do the job - and this is definitely the place. Also very well designed space chill atmosphere I would recommend anyone on having their hair cut here!"
