"I was guided by the good references I had for him and the positive reviews I could find online. He seemed honest when I spoke with him, so despite the very high price, I opted for a reconstructive and moisturizing hair treatment. I was finally convinced when he told me that all his clients were happy with the treatment and that I would notice significant changes. Even though I didn't know the brand (Henko) and didn't appreciate him requiring me to pay in cash, I went ahead with it. I spent almost 300 euros on a treatment that left my hair crunchy and, after the first wash, exactly the same as before. It's not worth it at all, since you don't notice anything. Not even the slightest improvement... His response (through the person who recommended him to me, since I haven't been back and won't) was: "Your hair was in really bad shape." Obviously it was in bad shape, but if it were fine, I wouldn't have gotten any treatment... because you'd already seen it before, and seeing my hair, the promise had been that it would improve a lot and that it was absolutely worth it. Otherwise, I wouldn't have done it. Without a doubt, the worst disappointment I've ever had at a hair salon, and I certainly think John should learn to be self-critical and respond when a treatment or service goes wrong and the result is neither what was promised nor what was expected (well, in my case, there was no result at all)."
